The world has been battling the pandemic known as Covid-19 now for several months. The virus has led to many adjustments to a person’s every day routine. The things that we once took for granted are now at the forefront and of grave concern. We are paying more attention to how, when and where we do things. We are concerned about not only ourselves but our families and neighbors. All of our lives have truly changed during this pandemic.
One of the things that have changed the most is the way that we think of living our lives that will be safe for everyone around us. The biggest impact has been regarding the way we keep ourselves, our homes and our work places clean and sanitized. Of course with the pandemic there is a new normal in the sense of health and safety. Post Covid-19 will definitely see a change of how we clean, what we clean and how often we clean. These measures are going to be necessary to ensure that we all continue to remain safe and virus-free.
Some of these measures are some that we have started implementing from the start of the virus outbreak. For example, the cleaning of highly frequented areas and places we touch need to be cleaned and disinfected on a daily basis. The disinfecting of these commonly used areas will make sure that all bacteria and germs found on them will be killed. It will be crucial as we move forward that these things continue so that we remain healthy.
In addition to this daily cleaning, a thorough and deep cleaning will also need to be done more often than people were usually cleaning before. Most people say that they do a deep cleaning once a week, once a month or even every few months. The type of cleaning that needs to be done at each of these intervals are different.
For example, to get a thorough cleaning of your home and work place, experts suggest that a weekly cleaning of floors, dusting and windows be done once a week. The monthly cleaning will be your weekly cleaning as well as such things as vents, ceilings, walls and other items that are not necessarily touched as much. It is equally important to assure that the air that you are breathing is free of particles that may make you sick.
You may also want to change the appliances that are being used in your home and/or workplace. Today, there are several varieties of appliances that are touch free or have limited touching requirements. These will prove important as Covid-19 has shown us that viruses, germs and microbes linger on these items and the more that you come in contact with them, the more likely you may fall ill.
One of the last things that may have become a priority during this time is the type of product that we choose to use and how we choose to live. Now more than ever, the environment is at the forefront of our consciousness. Therefore many people are making the effort to use and live in manners and with products that are environmentally friendly.
Some of these new adjustments may be easier than others, but they all prove to be important post pandemic and should be important to all of us to stay safe.
